Ruby Gold, Inc. is the owner and asset steward of the historic Ruby Mine, one of California’s most celebrated underground placer gold deposits. For over 170 years, the Ruby has been part of the Alleghany–Downieville Mining District’s rich history, producing some of the largest gold nuggets ever discovered and remaining an important gold resource to this day.

Ruby Gold’s role is to protect and manage this historic asset while enabling responsible, modern mining through carefully selected third‑party operators. These independent professionals handle all day‑to‑day mining activities, including safety, regulatory compliance, and production, under applicable permits and oversight.
